My opinion?
If the big bang is true, then Gravity is an essential tool in bringing everything back to a point of singularity before the process repeats.
Still not satisfied, as that doesn't explain at all how it works. Post on, anything from subatomic cat tongues stretching from object to object. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

What is gravity? It is a force, I mean the only force that matters.
Let me tell you what gravity is and how it works.
You see, when I drop my pants and dangle my dong, vitches come around, they don't know why but are attracted, pulled if you will, to my cock...scientists have found that is the planetary or it of left-testiculeous and -righteous-testicle around the base of my shaft creating a positron charged zone that pulls anything with a nutrinigina into it's netheregions

Gravity is pretty freaking awesome considering it requires as far as we know, no conventional or known medium in order to function and reacts on an infinite scale.
As to your proposition, the actual mechanics behind gravity are boggling the mind of the worlds brightest physicists. This is one of those topics where sure you can present an idea but to actually prove it's validity is beyond the ability of anyone on this forum.
This one in particular is quite important, as the unification of theories which apply to both macro and quantum scales would be monumental in our understanding of physics.

The reason that the universe did not collapse, as Newton's and Einstein's equations said it might, is that it had been expanding from the moment of its creation. The universe is in a constant state of change. The expanding universe, a new idea based on modern physics, laid to rest the paradoxes that troubled astronomers from ancient times until the early 20th Century.

Thanks for the links! These are fascinating topics indeed.

I'm Not Right in the Head | Random Rants and other Nonsense1st Order Logic Failure: Association fallacy, this type of fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true".
