R3V has a soft side? A lot has changed since I've been gone.

I would tend towards not proposing in Vegas. Your first date location is a pretty good idea though.

looks like you got some thinking to do.

if i was living in the PNW i would try to find the most beautiful scenery, hike there, and propose on the climax of your hike (probably the top of the mountain lol)

theres nothing special about vegas man, just a shitty place with shitty shit.
...also sex on the top of a deserted mountain ftw.

Plus, if she says "No", it is a wonderful place for a tragic accident.

                    Special bonus:

Future chicks LOVE the story about how your Fiancee slipped and fell off the cliff, right after she said "Yes" when you proposed to her with a gigantic diamond ring, that also, tragically and coincidentally, fell into the swirling depths and was lost forever.

Use the engagement ring as a cock ring, when you're about to blow have her suck you off. She will see her ring on you shaft, no words needed.

Here is what I did just this last February... This is from her point of view keep in mind. I just copied and pasted from our wedding web site

I was planning a trip to Disneyland (One of my most favorite places in the whole world!) with my Mom this last February for the weekend. My mom and I are part of a "Disney Fan Club" called D23. So every once in a while they do special events where you get to see and do things that most people don't. So the Wednesday night before I flew out Brent drove me down to the airport, and told me he told his boss he would be in late the next day so he stayed with me for the night, and saw me off the next morning for my flight to California. Brent called me about 10 minutes before my flight left and wished me farewell as I boarded the plane, and said he was about 30 minutes away from being home. Little did I know that he was hanging around Sea-Tac waiting for my flight to leave. As my flight left, he was just checking in with Virgin to get his tickets to California too. My Mom and I arrived at Disneyland Thursday afternoon. Since we were invited to take a tour of the Disney Studios in Burbank on Saturday we decided to go enjoy the park Thursday and Friday before the tour. As my mom and I enjoyed a Thursday evening in the Park I received a text from Brent saying that he was working late, and that he would call me later. So I continued to enjoy my time with my Mom before the park closed at 8 PM. My Mom and I always go on "Peter Pan's Flight" as our last ride of the day. After the ride we began to check out the shops and what not. With the parks closing quickly approaching we walked through Sleeping Beauty's Castle, with my mom distracting me by sticking a bright camera light in my face I hear "Hi Heather." I look up and there is Brent standing in front of the Castle waiting for me. I was so surprised and shocked to see him there that I just kept saying "What are you doing here??" over and over. As I approached him he knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in so much shock from him even being there that I didn't even hear him the first time he proposed. So he had to go back down on his knee and ask again, and he gave me his Great-Grandmother's wedding ring. It was such a magical moment. Dreams really do come true at the happiest place on earth!
