As of 2 and a half weeks ago i was on ep 8 s3. I caught up to ep 3 of this final season and now im very upset i spent that much time on it for it to end the way it did.

The ending sounded like a rushed essay that was completed 30 mins before the class it was due in.

When I read the leaks I thought it was a fake but ALL OF IT WAS TRUE WTFFFF.

I can't wait for the LOTR show on Amazon to come out and cleanse the salt from this wound once and for all

What an awful finale. The first ~30 minutes were good I guess, then it was just boring and didn't make any sense. It didn't feel like there was any meaningful resolution to anything. It was just... blah. Thankfully I'd only started watching the show in 2016; I'd be even more disappointed if I'd been a fan since 2011 and then watching it end how it did after all those years. Incredibly disappointing.

Either Arya is gonna take out Dany because Dany is gonna kill Jon and possibly tyrion unless he disappears

I thought it was a great episode, had me hooked the entire time. The buildup and the nonstop brutality was well done. I agree that some of the writing has left me scratching my head but I think some people are going overboard with criticism. This isn't a show that's going to give you what you want or what feels right, although I did roll my eyes at some things in episode 3, and how Euron was able to randomly kill Rhaegal. I've never cared for Daenerys's story arc very much but I do think they've done a good job building up her character as unpredictable and it makes sense that she snapped the way that she did. It was definitely a heart in the stomach moment, but when you look back at all the things leading up to it, what she's been through and who she is, it does make sense and I see no reason for people to be outraged.
