I've never really considered venturing outside of healthcare - but I'm looking for a job in a different city (Portland, OR) and would switch industries if it was a good fit.

- Currently a non-clinical manager responsible for 35+ direct reports at the busiest level one trauma center (ER) in the US.
- Vast knowlege of insurance billing and coding, revenue cycle management, lean operating principles, EMTALA, HIPAA, etc
- Analyst level excel skills
- Excellent management skills
- Quantifiable history of improving patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction and efficiency while reducing controllable expenses.
- My ER is in the 99th percentile in terms of customer service.
- I also have revenue recovery and call center management experience.
- Still working on my degree - but I'm not in a hurry and really don't see the point.
