        Harvest Bowl Recipe:
Beans, brown rice, steamed veggies (kale, sweet potatoes, squash, broccoli), hot sauce and Goddess dressing. Mix together, top with nori and sunflower seeds for some extra flare. It's about the healthiest meal you can make that is cheap and easy.

Kale is actually amazing my girlfriend loves it so I eat it quite a bit! In fact while writing this I'm having a kale shake.. It substitutes a protein mix and is quite nice.

I use a few different cook books. Joy of Cooking and one called How to Cook Everything.

eating out is a treat on a budget.

              Super delicious.
never salsa, always fresh homemade pico de gallo. (onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, and salt) it makes almost anything amazing. last night was tacos with seasoning that i made from my spice cabinet, pinto (fried black beans and rice with salsa lizano), and pico de gallo. fucking amazing and cheap.

I find the real trick is just to equip yourself with quality, fresh herbs and spices. Having a few oils is nice for making different salad dressings. You can put just about anything into oil to flavor it over time, EVOO is always nice. Growing your own herbs is stupid easy, even in an apartment, as long as there enough sunlight.

Then you just start experimenting with how you put them on whatever is on sale at the store.

                Step 3: profit

Been eating alot of quinoa (keen-wah) lately. Very high in protein and gluten free. It's super easy to make and can be flavored with just about anything. I like to lightly sauté some fresh veggies an mix them in, delicious, healthy and satisfying.

I think raw bell peppers taste pretty damn good and even a retard can prep those. Giada has awesommme knockers.
The joy of cooking is a good book. Also that fat bitch on food network makes some bomb food, Ina .
