(no, not spam) $20/month non-contract unlimited talk/text/web android cell plan

    I'm kinda excited about this...

The deal is you have to have wi-fi where you spend most of your time (home/work) and the phone automatically looks for free wi-fi when it can find it. Otherwise it works on cell networks. Not for a road warrior I guess. But looks promising.

I've been looking for a way to stick it to the cell/phone companies for ages.

    Enjoy

I've been keeping an eye on this company. Its a pretty banging deal if you have live in an area with plenty of wireless...like burlington and some other forward thinking cities.

Are you signed up for the beta testing?

Yea. It's unclear how much you have to be on wifi - they say you only have to have wi-fi at home.

But anyway.....Yeah the whole premise is to basically use the phone like a VOIP app (skype, vonage...ya know) that will seamlessly switch between that and standard 3g/4g whatever without dropping the call and keeping the same #. It's awesome and the best deal ever if you live somewhere with tons of wireless. I think wilmington nc has their city set up with free wireless. Imagine living in NYC you walk past like 40 starbucks with free wireless. As soon as the phone learns that spot it will automatically snap to it when in range.

F34r...they're coming out with a jacket for the ipod that gives it the ability to connect to 3g networks for free soon. It's like 100 bucks and works as an extended battery too I think

$45 dollars unlimited text, talk and internet 5gb then slows down with Tmobile Business plan which is no longer avai. They do have one for $50 though then again you have to pay taxes and fees but I think its the best deal out.

seems practical if u have a good wifi network and are constantly connected to it. If you're on the go a lot... no thanks. I got unlimited data on Verizon.
