I can never decide whether to call myself a libertarian or a republican. My whole thing with libertarians is their whole xenophobe stance... no intelligence agencies outside the US, no military bases outside the US... that stuff doesn't work at all. But I can get on board with just about everything else.

If you're libertarian you're a fence rider and throwing your vote away. ;)

Modern Republicans don't seem the least bit conservative to me, sad fact. So its either spend a lot right now Dems, or spend a lot a little later Repubs.

Does anyone remember what the daily show used to be like when Clinton was in office? I sure dont. I used to like Jon Stewart for his appearance in Half Baked but now its just the same, we hate republicans, they are stupid joke for half an hour.

Ive given up watching the news, I cant believe any of it. Especially after the whole Dan Rather incident. I dont believe a single word of the news that I see on TV, including Fox.

Hmmm... and democrats are suppose to be open minded and for the people... but they just called for a closed session about pre-war intelligence. wasting an afternoon clearing the room out (which requires screening for electronics, etc.)... way to waste tax payer money fellas!
