I had it bad in the fifth grade, got sick and missed the entire year of school. Ended up having asthma from it until I grew out of it, I'd wake up every night not being able to breathe. Took three different doctors at three different hospitals 7 months to diagnose. Worst thing of my life, next to strep. Ugh strep.

I had it in boot camp. One lung almost full the other just starting. Forced myself to pass the test they had for me to not get dropped back a cycle and graduated on time. Adios Parris Island.

Got it the last week. Every chance I got I put my arms into the sink and flooded hot water over them. Only relief I had. Wasnt about to risk getting dropped so close to being done.

It sucked big time, but I did what I had to and pulled through. Definitely hope it never happens again.
