    Logitech G27

Just wanted to say, I just bought a Logitech G27 for $199. So excited right.

Finally be able to play F1 2011 they way it was supposed to.

On another note, moving into our very own first home this week, will post pictures of mega huge 5 carport and two sheds when my internet is reconnected.

Get a Wheel Stand Pro. You'll want to throw that thing away if you mount it on a coffee table.

Built this setup with a friend of mine a couple years ago, worked great. Just some 2X4's and a $30 seat form the junk yard.

Here's a rig I built for my dad for Christmas this past year. 1.5" Tube Frame. Started with a G27 (now for sale), but recently replaced with a Fanatec GT2 wheel w/ clubsport pedals. The seat is the stock leather seat from my e46 that I had laying around after swapping in M3 seat. Seat is 6-way power adjustable, run of an old pc power supply.

            ^That's awesome!

I'd love to get a setup like that in the spare bedroom one of these days.

The fanatec is great. The difference in feedback between a gear driven wheel (g27) and the belt drive (fanatec) is huge. Much smoother and more life like. The brake pedal on the clubsports is also a hydraulic cylinder with a pressure sensor, as opposed to just a pot sensor. Makes it much more consistent.
