                  FUCK YOU!

drummer here, off and on since HS. Been in a few bands, but I have a hard time dealing with the other MUSICIAN's egos when I just want to play.

5+ years of post burn surgeries have taken a toll on my high hat sticking, still trying to get that back up to par with the rest.

What do you call a guy that hangs out with musicians? The drummer.

There a reason, when you call out a band for a gig, you request a 4+1 or 5+1

The "+1" is the drummer. :)

without a drummer, the bass player would get lonely and you would not be able to keep time. you would have to rely on the lead singers ego for that.

Lol. This thread got entertaining quick. I rag on my bro all the time for not being a musician. I just get an evil eye. I play/ record bass/guitar AND drums. Ive been playing for 20+ years and do not need a drummer to speed up a song! ;) I kid, I kid.

I used to play drums, homey ;) No slam pit without that snare cutting through with a deafening thwack!

In my experience, there was nothing worse than having two guitars - each one would turn up his amp when no one was looking so that he could be heard over the other guitar. Egos. Sheesh.

I think so. I'll dig it out and take a look. The guy I got it from (friends at the time) said it had a "wizard" neck? It's the best one I ever had, which is why I kept it in case I get a wild hair to take up playing again.
