    The router is in my office directly under my bedroom. This is about 10 feet of separation, through the floor.

      I am averaging very nice numbers nearing wired.



      It also turns out everything I have is N capable. I had no clue.

        This interests me. I need to figure out my current status and see if I can optimize it. No sense in paying for something if you're not getting the most out of it.



        Any tips on how I can improve this? I have Comcast's basic internet/cable package (I don't know the specs).
