mmmm, I love eel. My favorite was this little sushi place in DC. They had this thing called a Vegas Roll. Tepura, eel, cream cheese, some other stuff, can't remember. BUT DANG, soooo good.

anyway, this guy is freshwater and just a baby. He will be over a foot within the year. You wouldn't get much sushi out of him right now.

I worship wasabi. Speaking of eel, there is this black guy who works at Kona that makes some badass eel. Once we asked him, "Since you are soo good at making sushi you must have really good suggestions, what kind is your favorite?" His response was was, "I have never had sushi, raw fish, that is fucking disgusting!"

Freshwater eels suck compared to saltwater. I used to have one of those freshie eels, it was pretty cool though. Cichlids definately rock tropicals...

I would like to set up a micro saltwater tank some day. An eel would be awsome.

Cichlids, yes, are way cool to watch. I will get a pair of the more community friendly parrot cichlids. That is about all I can handle. I would like a shoal of angels though. I can't decide.

wow, as a former chef by profession, i made a policy that i would never eat food made by some1 who wouldnt eat it themselves...the reason: i didnt give a shit about food that i didnt find appetizing myself(ie: anything vegan)...

oh and Unagi, which is the eel all sushi places use is freshwater and tastes the best. i fish for salt water eel locally, and we cook it up and shit, but doesnt taste as good.

Micro reefs rock too. I like angels but seem too high maintainence.
