Yea. Just somthing to hold us over until forza 5 one day. Even still the game is still very fun and i have no regrets on buying it. And the online free roam and co-op challenges are pretty sweet

I still think its a good game, most of you are thinking it replaces Forza 4, which it does not. It is meant to be more arcade like guys, they have to make it appeal to casual audiences too, you cant just make all the cars handle like real life, everyone would be doing donuts because they cant handle the throttle.

Exactly! Just like how the guys that made Dirt 1, 2, & 3 made that other Dirt Showdown that ended up being really stupid since it was demolition derby and gymkhana.

after reading all of this I'm glad I'm waiting until it's way cheaper. I do want to drive around in some cool cars, but I just wish it would be in a forza style, not an arcade.

I popped forza 1 back in my xbox and that's been great. they somehow had a better car selection and way better tracks.
I really miss the full rally di positano in 4 though.

So youre the e3o dude. ok. nice to put a name to the gamertag. ill add you next time i get on. Yea I had it set to simulation. Pretty much all settings the same as in forza 4. It doesn't do it anymore though so I'm good.

Just hit 268 on the highway through the speed trap. Ranked like 2100 though. How that person got 277 idk. The traffic conditions must have been perfect for that because I was dodging cars all the way up to the camera

You can do the speed traps online in free roam which has zero traffic. Looks like ill be doing that when I get on to try to get closer to the top of the rankings

The only thing I don't like about the game is it drives like the cars have stability control on even though traction is off. So when you go to counter steer during a race it overcompensates so it's easier to just not touch the steering to much and the car corrects itself which is opposite of 4 so I have a feeling when I go to play online or go drifting on 4 I'm gonna suck at first

Also, make sure you have steering set to "simulation" instead of arcade. I can't confirm this will fix your problem since it was the first thing I changed and haven't compared the two, but I know that driving the F50GT is nearly as hard as driving it in Forza 4.

And is it weird I drive around normally, stopping at stop signs and such? I mean wth...buys a video game that allows you to break the law and not get in trouble for it.........drive's normally. Drives real car.....speeds. :/

LOLZ. I hit every stop sign I can, and am getting better at drifting into them when its possible. Carson area is good for that, you take one down and drive around the block and its usually back up....


I lost a 9000+ popularity point chain last night when one of the other competitors created a massive pile-up on the highway portion.... pissed me off, but it was epic. Cars flying everywhere. Driving against traffic at 220+ can get rather interesting! Trying to avoid the cars spinning in all directions put me in a tank-slapper, ended up "drifiting" (ha!, like I had any real control....) down an off-ramp and side-swiping the wall - at which point I watched that awesome point total drop off the screen.... damn.


Anyone know if shit like that can be saved in replay? Or is replay only for the races?

I would do that, obey laws... But other then that im picking up the game this week hopefully.

For those wondering about wheel fitment and all, its not perfect, but they made it much better than Forza 4. When you widen tires, the wheels widen and actually get more negative offset. Some cars actually get a little bit of poke.

The chrome actually looks chrome.

There's matte paint, and if your paint your car matte, the vinyl is matte.

Cars in stock form are actually fun to drive and not complete turds like they are in Forza 4.


If you drive with the steering wheel and all assists off, it feels very real. The whole slamming into a Kenworth at 150 and just bouncing off of it sucks, but...the rest of the g ame makes up for it.



I'm happy with it :) Also love the interiors at night and the pop-up lights on cars...haha.
