Anyone pick this up yet that can comment on differences from the demo? I'm grabbing my pre-order over lunch, but wont get a chance to play it until later this evening.

Ahh so Forza is the kinda game that thinks: CHUCK NORRIS FORCE FEEDBACK APPROVED!

On PC PCars is just gloriously beautiful. But the sim part is still subpar, then again, it's no where near complete.

With force feedback, you want it subtle. In Forza 4 I run about 30% ffb, turned down in game, not turned down on my CSR Elite. That way the wheel still gets 100% information, and is not itself toning down the data.

I just watched a few videos of it. I'm going to check into getting a membership when I get back from vacation. I just realized you get monthly builds anyway so you could still play

of course forza feels more cheesy than a dedicated sim, as I said, but what category should it be placed in then? "arcade racer with elements of racing sim"? it's semantics.
but holy shit project cars looks super gravy especially for a console release. I'm weary about their crowd sourced funding methods, but apparently it worked brilliantly. I just don't care enough to fork over cash years ahead for some odd online features.

    Project Cars soon...(amazing gfx btw)

iracing has the best league setups, and real money can be made, also racing gives you credits to buy content. Forza 4 feels like a silly arcade racer comparatively, especially when it comes to force feedback.
Id forzas force feedback like those games at the arcade that try to rip your arm off when hitting an apex.

what do you think are the best racing sims then?

I would have to disagree. I think the handling is light years more realistic than current NFS games. With that being said, I think they majorly fucked up capturing car "culture." That's my grievance.
