If they were uneeded, why did you buy them? The house.com has literally dozens and dozens of top brand bindings for prices one-third of what you paid.

People have this idea that they always have to buy brand new gear, so it becomes a stigma that snowboarding is a rich-people sport. The only thing I bought new this year was toe and ankle straps for my bindings. I've had the same gloves, goggles, clothing, and other stuff for like 3 years now. The only time I buy new is when it needs to be replaced, and even then, I can almost always find things used. People are just too lazy to look around, and even more so concerned with having the newest, most expensive board, bindings, boots, etc. THAT'S fucking ridiculous.

I hardly ever buy used, but I usually try to score good deals on last years' model stuff. Brand new, absolutely nothing wrong with the item, and will go for like 70% retail price.

First place to surf is going to be Hawaii? It's going to be scary knowing there is corall directly beneath you, that shit can tear a man to pieces.

hey now, my datsun handles pretty comperable to my e30, and my datsun 20 years older!

I'm not really all about used gear. you can definately feel how much pop a board has. they're made with camber, that shit diminishes after a little bit

anyway, I bow to west coast riding, east coast sucks. this is true.

i ride a lib tech magne traction 156 (for those icy days). its nuts, you can actually put down an edge on ice! also have a lib dave lee 156, which ill probably sell. want to get an emma peel 159 if i ever find time to go out west this year. rockin drake f60s right now.

bout to order some cartels too. not because they're necessary. I think missions are all you need. but burton started discounting lower than cost this year on their pro forms, so I'll take advantage of that.

past couple years i've ripped my tendon in my ankle skateboarding so that prevents me from snowboarding much. but I'm still fucking surrounded by it, I manage the snowboard shop I've worked at for 5 and a half years

                  btw skateboarding>snowboarding

Baker ha(s/d) the biggest snow base in the world. I went up on Friday, and it was awesome. Snowed the whole time. Kinda windy, and the visibility wasnt a 10, but I still had fun. Took my dads Suburoo(!!!!1elevn) up there. Saw 3 Jettas jump the birm on the way down. Much laughing ensued.

i ride a GNU 154 w/ Ride bindings, northwave boots, and my brand new 686 ace jacket (yellow/brown)

I mainly made my way to Tahoe since we had a place up there. I rode on a Rusty (if nobody recognizes this company, it's because it's a surfboard company that tried out snowboarding for a couple seasons before being pressured out of the industry by Burton) custom snowboard (hand built and designed by me) with K2 Clicker bindings and boots. All about the carving, none of the jumping shit.

I moved to CT in July, and there's a resort 30 minutes away. It's not real big, and I wouldn't imagine that it's particularly good either, but it's close. It's called Mohawk Mt. I'm excited nontheless, plus I have a friend who goes to UVM so I can go up there for good snowboarding at Stowe.

All my equipment is Burton, bought it off-season a year and a half ago for like 60% off.

Any of you guys put your snowboards in your car without a ski-hole?

and I put my board in my coupe, just put the boards behind the seats so the nose goes under the seat. not sure if i'll be able to do it now with the e46 seat in there

                            anyone have a ski rack?

Maybe step-ins work, but I'd be too paranoid that it would disengage, that I've never really tried them (other than demo's).

I've had tons of different bindings, and I absolutely love my Burton Missions. Burton makes some awesome bindings for good price.

I had Flux bindings, then had the famous Drake F60LTDs. I HATED them. I broke the heel cup, top straps (twice), and baseplate (twice). Maybe I just had bad luck with it
