Then definitely buy the vehicle you can make extra money with and be able to write on your taxes since it will be for self-employed work.

You're good at this. The f250 is really secretly at the top of my list.
I can make it pay for itself, I can use it for camping, I can use it for my car hoarding hobbies... BUT, it requires me to keep the 540 for the mrs. so a 4door is still first priority. If I fail at sedan searching I will definately snatch one up.
Nothing new. I'd have to be a millionaire to feel good enough about paying the premium for a new car. I've watched my mom throw away so much money growing up because she refused to buy anything used. me on the other hand have saved thousands over the years toying with old BMW's.
A 4door e30 would be sooooo cheap and nice but I don't see myself driving one. I'll stick to verts and coupes. I'll be spending this week testing things out. I appreciate all the responses guys. This thread just proves how much BMW DOMINATES the sedan world.

Then go for it. Let it pay for itself, since it's a proper truck it will last hundred's of thousands of miles, and once it's paid for......................................then you can buy your track toy AND have something to tow it to the track with.

Get a truck!! Just got back into an F250 after losing previous truck in a stupid break up. I feel every man should have a truck and an F250 will always be at the top of my list.Comment

So I drove the genisis, waaaay to pricey for womthing I wouldn't want to keep. Nice car though and feels sporty.
Drove the MB e350, drives like a boat.
Drove a legacy, not the legacy GT and the interior feels trashy... the f250 and the G8 gt are now the top of the list.
I'm going to drive this today and also a few more F250's
All white GT

Copper F250

What's your budget?
Have you looked at any 4motion VW's?
Or possibly a four door mk5 R32?
Just throwing them out there.Comment

The G8 GT is at the top of a very short list of 4 door cars I WOULD OWN.
If your looking for a 3/4 ton diesel. in that price range you going to be looking a 6.0 form ford. The latter ones were not too bad, But I would be looking at a GMC/Chevy Duramax if your wanting a Diesel. Way better trans and better ride, and better power plant, but I then again I am biased I my personal truck is a GMC with a Duramax. If you can make the truck pay for it self thats where I would be leaningThe American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

I've heard nothing but great things from folks with the alison tranny's. Wonder if that would fit into that price range.
as for the 6.0's from ford, I wouldn't look into one withoud the head stud conversion. Even if I did, I would do the swap myself immediately.
I'm going to compare the two today. never considered chevy as all my trucks were ford 7.3 international turbo diesel ftmfw!
