I pictured you in something like this except with a big American flag flying out the back and some bull horns on the grill and a bumper sticker that says "Drill baby drill."

You're absolutely right and I agree with you 100%. I like the car. Just not sure about it yet. That alone is pushing me towards a GME 2500 with a duramax.

The 135i will probably keep its value well and are about 40k used here and that usually works out to be about half in the US.
They're still about 30k with one with low miles. I was looking into them but the 135 only has 2drs and the 335 is hard to want in an auto lol.

      CAR BUYING SUCKS.
I'm so used to not wanting to spend my money that now, I still don't want to spend it. I'd rather build an e30 and call it a day but responsibility is settling in and I need something that is family friendly. like my 5.... except with low miles.

Going once, going twice...................if you can make money with a truck, buy a fucking truck. Geez.

But I like having disposable income. If I had something I could do in my off hours to make more, I'd be doing it.

So, I did some searching and it took me all of a month and a half to find a decent truck. 05 GMC duramax/alison crew 2500 4x4. All white. grey leather interior. It was beautiful. it was also sold the instant I showed up on the lot with the cash. I then got side tracked and went 300miles south to look at a Tahoe Z71. I loved it but the guy wouldn't budge on the price. Then I saw another car. an 02 540i/6 sport. So I dumped my 02 540i/A to the first sucket that came with cash and I left with a 6spd.

Totally not what I wanted but soon as I drove it, the v8 roar and the shifting into gear made me wet. At that point the seller said "you stain it, you buy it!" so I replied "Sold!"

truth was, after driving my old auto 540, no other car could compare (other than another BMW $$$$). which is sad for a 10yr old car. I'll post pics when I get home. This being said, I'll probably never buy an american car again. Ever.

Don't say that until you drive a z06 vette.

Actually, I've driven a grand touring, a z06, and a zr1. I didn't get to hit the gas in the zr1 but I did in a z06! WHEW! They're so quick. However, none of them have rear seats for kids. lol

                      This is true.

If it was just for me a C5 Z06 would be at the top of the list.

Late model Mercedes C300? Girl I dated for a bit had one. Drove quite nice actually. Super comfy, plenty quick for daily use, interior was nice, looks subjectively great. Although I do see them everywhere. I really have no idea what they go for but figured I'd toss it out there.
