I considered this route too. After my hot optometrist personally still stuck with glasses and contacts for herself (after knowing several who had it done), I decided against it. Partially cost, partially b/c you gonna need glasses again anyway (after a few years), and partially b/c I've had glasses since I was 5 and have got used to them.
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Is it as thin as it looks? I like to keep a knife in mu pocket for work and this is the smallest one I have currently.

I have that same knife, though with a shorter blade but still razor sharp. A gift from the owner of Kershaw years ago before the model officially hit the market.

                      I have a CRYO II.

My roommate had the Leek and it was just too slow opening for my liking.

the leek is a good knife especially for the pricing iirc most are 12c26n steel, which is is very close to the same shit they make razor blades out of. It will get scary sharp and takes an edge well. It wears decently enough so long as your mindful of how your using and take care of the edge.

I prefer the slightly harder longer wearing yet slightly more difficult to maintain S30V

Edit seems they have upgraded to 14c28n steels in these, I dont know anything about it though I would bet with the slightly higher chromium content its a little better at resisting corrosion

yeah i think mine is a sandvick 14c28n one, i was looking at the composite blade 14c28n/D2 but i decided to be cheap, its scary sharp like sharper than some of my kitchen knives sharp. i think my next purchase might be a spyderco sharpmaker, so i can keep the blade up

I apologize, I was a little too quick. I have just the Cryo I not II. My bad. I just grab the knife that looked like mine since I forgot the name.

I would skip the sharp maker, for a cheaper controlled angle sharpener that is more user friendly I would look at the lansky 5 stone kit....

I really want a wicked edge system, but will prolly just stick with my tri stone and Lansky kit
