Didnt see any thread for this, and i happen to love football (soccer) so lets just have a discussion board for this more or less on the games played in the previous days, the ones going on and so on and so forth. My personal favorite to win it like most people is Germany, even though my favorite team is Spain :P

As a typical American, I grew up playing soccer but having no access to watch the good stuff. Now that it's the inverse...
Spain is my favorite team to watch. Not only (usually) the prettiest, but it's pretty fun to watch the RM/Barca guys knock the ball around. Although really, get Torres off the pitch. I've run out of "want to like the guy."
I really couldn't care less who wins. Hell, I'd love to see an underdog like the Ukraine or Poland take it. Just gimme some good football.

That was a great goal, text book drill with no one around, only there wer two defenders and a keeper.
I hate to say it, but Germany may have this one. I said it last Euro after the final, Germany was young then, un-tested as a team. They have been through enought to knowe how to win a Euro now. Still pulling for England, but hell, I doubt it.Yours truly,
Rich

Regardless of who wins, there will be unruly, drunken crowds into the wee hours of the morning, and endless vuvuzela shenanigans, even in the small town I live in over here.
But if it has to happen, i'd say i'd like Germany to go all the way.-03/2005 E46 330D Touring 6spd(204hp/410nM) Sapphire Black/Naturbraun Sport...300k KM & 35mpg(mixed)
