Should I pursue getting my wisdom teeth out guise? I only have a week until I start working on the 25th.

I'm pretty pumped at how mine ended up. No swelling little pain. Occasionally a clot will break loose and slide down my throat. The hydrocodone worked great for getting to sleep after the surgery. I'm not a fan off that shit so maybe I'll just sell em to some pill heads.

Loving the egg suggestion! I'm rocking smoothies hard but that's going to wear thin. How are noodles and shit?

Scrambled eggs were my life. Also, I made "power shakes", ice cream, protein shake, and milk. Fucking legit.

          Keep it slideways!!

I haven't gotten my wisdom teeth out, but I fucked up my mouth one time (face plant off a bmx dirt ramp) and couldn't eat, and I thought blended up ramen noodles were good. It sounds gross and I got a million "how can you possibly eat that" but it's pretty damn good. Of course this is in addition to jamba juice and stuff.

Got all four of mine pulled about 3 years ago, I was awake the whole time they did the surgery. I opted for not being put out, rather not chance never waking up again. They gave me hydrocodone also. I took those in about 2 days, they were supposed to last a lot longer. Ever since then I've been in love with painkillers. Thanks doc.

Anyone have any side effects to the pain killers?

Other than loving them and wanting more and purse-snatching little old ladies and/or holding up convenience stores for money to buy them? None really.

Seriously though, just take them as prescribed or as needed (if that's what your prescription says), then be done with them.

                      Yeah shoulda gone this route.

So far not a single erection or shit has been taken for a solid week.

And not a single fuck will be given by r3v either. But thanks for listening.

I had fucked up wisdom teeth. Some people say they had bad ones...but these were terrible. They came in on their sides on the bottom and the top ones were super deformed and about 1/4th the size of a normal tooth.

My dentist at the time (who is no longer my dentist,) made an executive decision to only do one side at a time, since he was pressed for time and my mouth would hurt pretty bad for a while. He gave me a shot of novocaine and went to work. Started digging around and trying to get the one out and chipped one of my molars. After 3 hours in the chair, they were both finally out. Decided I wasn't going back to him for the other two. No pain meds afterwards either. My cheek was swollen for 4 weeks. Fuckers.

Called up an oral surgeon to have the others done. In and out in an hour. Laughing gas is the shit. Apparently, I was pretty funny and even asked to have more teeth pulled, since I was having such a great time! Gave me a prescription for two weeks of 750mg Vicodin. Mmmm. Hardly any swelling and was back to eating solid food within 5 days.

Moral of that story: go to someone who knows what the fuck they're doing. Ask for Vicodin afterwards. Sleep a lot. Mashed potatoes are good for a swollen mouth.

When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I supposedly hallucinated that there was a car in the hallway (I don't remember this at all, but this is according to my mom). The only thing I remember from that day is the pain from the anesthesia wearing off during the car ride home.

I also cannot look at jello without feeling sick. Eating that+Mac and cheese for a week is terrible.

                              Good luck with the recovery!
