Or trade for eta parts car? You get rid of the problem child & you get a whole car that you could turn into one car. Then part out & ditch the rest for scrap. You only really need one car anyways. Unless you can afford to keep em both.

Had one of these on the farm too.
We've got the first one I posted, 55 diesel, from the farm as well. Grand dad bought it new in 1957 for my dad to drive, since the 70 was too big.
Just got the 55 restored. Now I use it on occasion. 3 generations....and it'll go onto the fourth if the world doesn't end.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5

My Dad has the tractor (e21) he bought new in 1979. One day, when he's too old to drive, I suspect it will be mine. Spency, keep your e21. If it isn't all rusty, you've actually got something pretty rare. Bimmer magazine did a really nice piece on the 1980 revamp of the e21. Im pretty sure it was issue #100, from Aug. 2012. Sorry I don't have it here with me to scan at the moment.--Will
