    Life Is good!!

I stop at a red light. The light turns green and I need to make a left so I pull into the middle of the intersection, and cars are coming like no other - therefor I wait until the light turns yellow and I proceed with the left turn. I see a car 10 yards behind the line didn't think she'd try and run the yellow.. I was wrong.

    My Car.

    Her Car.

The scariest part of this ordeal is that I was taking home the girl that I love.

When I saw she didn't stop I just shoved my foot on the brake and pulled the ebrake so hard and braced for impact. I was with the girl that I love. It hit her side too. When I got her out of the car she was shaking as if she was having a seisure - and the lady who hit me was also shaking uncontrolably, so I gave the my friend a jacket I had in the back, and I gave my jacket to the lady who hit me. So now I'm shaking and it's 54 degrees and here I am with a short sleve shirt standing and freezing and really enjoying all that life has to offer. So I called up my 'dates' parents who already hate me for owning a gun and said blah blah blah this is what happend. So they came and that was really fun. I called up my best friend and he came down to give me a ride home. I bet you can imagine how it went - showing up with no car at 2 am.

Shouldn't be, as a yellow light is actually equal to a red unless you are in the intersection already. Yellow means 'stop' not 'try and see if you can make it'. :)

Which means he shouldn't have been in the middle of the intersection trying to make it... if anything, she had the right of way because he didn't have a green arrow.

The law (at least here in Kanuckland) allows a vehicle to enter the intersection on a green and remain there until an amber light appears. At which time oncoming traffic are required to stop for the yellow allowing the turning car to make the turn before the red. You'd be right if he'd tried to enter the intersection on the yellow.

3rd wreck in 1.5 months, the car still has paper plates.

I was in the intersection stopped waiting for the light to turn amber so I can go - because I couldn't cut a break in the traffic.

So I'm driving the e30 until this one gets fixed. Gotta love that good old e30.

Had a very close call like that a over the summer. (I'll have to check the MD law for their rules regarding yellows). Except I was the one pushing the yellow light, and an oncoming vehicle nearly turned. Scared the crap out of me, I'll be curious to see how yours turns out.

                      best of luck
