Yeah. Saw all the flooding on TWC too. Old Jim Cantore was standing on a road that was almost under water.

Didn't pay much attantion to him though. Jenn Carfagno and Steph Abrams were looking good today.

Lightening, IIRC. They were several fires that converged into one gigantic one I think.

Lightning started most. I think some asshats contributed to it with fireworks and shit despite the bans. I can't say for certain, though.

Damn... I got a few friends in Colorado Springs atm. One of my friends is stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. They have already started evacuating parts of the town and they may evacuate the base if necessary. Also... my guess is the military will try to protect the base and NORAD as much as possible. I visited Colorado last time there was a huge wildfire. You could see it from the top of Pikes Peak. Needless to say, this fire is a lot worse. Mountain terrain + fire is always a bad combo.

You can see how the fire progressed here:

if you guys have seen the AFA chapel, how it looked last night:

I could see flames from my house out the window and watched from the bluff as it engulfed many houses. I am about 1-2 miles east of I-25, everything west of I25 has been evacuated. I woke up this morning because my window was open and all the smoke. You can't go anywhere without it smelling like a campfire. It tripled in size in 24 hours yesterday. We had a sprinkle of rain but its still 91* and like 8% humidity.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

man. we saw the sun for the first time today in a week. but what we had is nothing compaired to the colorado thing. i feel for them.

we had some crazy flooded roads and stuff. some roads collapsed from the water running under them and at work it looked like a tornado. we were all looking out of the shop and couldnt see 15 feet out of the bay doors. our lot is surrounded by pine trees for some unknown reason and the wind pretty much took every big branch off. had some dented cars and broken windows. theres also a lot where theyre about to build a building and they had dug into the ground almost 6 feet to start the foundation and that whole lot is overflowing with water. ill try and get a pic tomorrow.

the only thing about floods is if you dont know your way around, especially were i live you can go from road to 5 feet of water in one step.

Its mostly dry now. still a few areas with standing water where it got flooded, but none close to here. We lost a bridge and a few trees but that's about it for here. Even a lot of our flooded areas are dry already.
