yea, thats right. now we have like 4 on here.
I got a canon digital rebel xt the other day and finally got to use it for the first time yesterday due to my lenses taking a week to get here.

nothing too amazing..yet..im still getting used to the camera..ive taken just under 100 shots with it so far. ;o

lenses are sigma 18-50mm and 55-200mm. (the 55-200 isnt as big as it looks, its just the lens hood is enormous.)

i havent been able to use the camera outside yet, just indoors crap.
tomarrow i'll venture off around the area and take more pics. :)

I bought the body for $744 from a canadian camera store on ebay, which is alittle cheaper than the states. $250 for both lenses from a camera store on ebay, which was a STEAL. (the ebay store has like 150,000+ feedback, 98.8% pos) and the 1gb memory card (unshown) from newegg for 43 w/ rebate

so, i got everything for alittle over $1,000..about $1,025 or something like that.

no christmas presents for me this year. :(

It's a great camera, I would definately suggest it, but its really an entry level DSLR. Some of the better ones are upwards of $5,000 though. You can't go wrong with a Rebel XT, especially for a grand.

oh honestly the XT is a good camera like TJ said. and if u do get one PLEASE Please dont get the silver body. but however befor you go out and drop that kind of $ check out the competition. look into the Nikon d50 a bit more but IMO a better camera overall. i dont like how the Canon feels too plasticky and cheap. The 5D is great but I dont have 5K to drop of a camera. LOL
