It sounded really bad! Super loud. I was happy it did not hit the from tire, which might have caused me to loose controll of the car. I had my GF sister and brother in the car with me. The good part is we had a scheduled appointment with BMW for this Thursday anyways so we have a loaner car to drive :)
It is definitely a spade drill bit with the blade snapped off. I think the other piece is stick between the rim and the inside of the tire some where. We also have the wheel/tire insurance with BMW (the only add on option we went for when we bout the car) so they will replace out tire and/or wheel for free (even if it's after market).
