Glock 23

A friend just offered me his Glock 23 .40 S&W he has, as he wants a 9mm. Said it has night sights, 3 mags, original box and papers. He shot about 100 rounds through it no problems and comes with about 75 rounds of ammo for $500. Good deal? Never owed a Glock. Dont know what going rates are for something like this.

price seems a little high for friend prices. my buddy sold his 23 with about the exact same stuff to a gun shop for 255.

If its a Gen 4 with only 100rnds though it then that is a decent deal. I sold my Gen 2 G17 (9mm) with countless rounds through it for $350 to a dealer at a gun show. If you like glocks and were looking for a gun, then I'd say get it.

I sold my glock because the grip angle throws me off and I couldn't hit the ground with it. That being said, it was a great gun. 20 years old, shot dry, wet, dirty. Never jammed.

Because this isn't the section it belongs in. It is this type of, don't care, attitude that gets the general discussion area filled with crap.

I own a Glock .40 and I'm currently in the cool down process of waiting for my Glock 19 9mm. Both awesome guns, I shot them side by side. I got my Glock .40 brand new at a retail store for $550-$600 I want to say and my glock 19 from a friend $300 with 800 FMJ rounds.

I guess I never really read the description under this forum title. It does say "car oriented" discussions so I do apologize. With that being said, people do take way to much offense to a mistake
