    Traffic Ticket in CA

So I have a red light violation (failure to completely stop) from back in June, in San Diego county.

It's on video, they got a ridiculous picture of me in my e30, etc..

However, I got a hands-free ticket last summer, and took traffic school.
I have been told that the hands-free tickets in CA are not moving violations.
...and I've been told by some people that I could take traffic school again.

However, online, it said that option was not available.
So I pressed the button to extend my date to appear in SD till 8/22.

Now, what do I do? My ticket is $480, hell if I can afford that. :hitler:
I don't want my insurance to go like sky rockets in flight.

    What is meh to do?

    Halp.

That is correct, it also will be more then 480$ with the cost of traffic school on top of that. Your best bet is to talk to a judge to set up a payment plan if you cant afford the 480$ up front.

                I suddenly feel ghetto.

But I was also hearing that there are ways to appear before the judge, act sincere, and they might reduce the fine (?)

Push your court date back as far as possible, appear before the Judge, plead no contest, do not ASK for driving school unless he offers it to you, when you go to the payment window after appearing before the judge you can then setup a payment plan and/or do driving school as well if you qualify at that time.

                    Stop driving recklessly.

I'm sorry to hear, but red-light tickets in MD are only $50 and are not recorded, nor do they effect insurance. Gosh, CA people always find a way to make me happier to live in this crap hole.
