Contrary to everyone else. I congradulate the OP. Current Golfs and Jettas (not the City or "Shitty" models) are far more reliable and have an equivalent or exceed fit and finish of current BMW's.

If I lost my e30, I'd def get an 08+ Rabbit with 5 speed!

Thanks stanley, I also agree new models far exceed the previous. Downfalls of the car are FWD and poor interior quality.

Don't listen to the kids on r3v, that hatch is more desired than the GTI. I dream of owning one of those gas sipping hatches. Here in NY when I was helping my buddy replace his GTP. We looked at SO many of those, but they were sold before even hitting the lot. People were paying money above the MSRP. He ended up buying a GTI, and it is still amazing on gas and peppy.

What can you not love? It is one of the best looking hatches VW has made IMO. I fell in love with the TDI 5 door, too bad it is out of my price range. Not to mention amazing MPG, no joke I am jealous :) I really want one of these in a 5 door for my daily.

Exactly...Even tho the OP agrees with me and my post above, I really dont' see what's not to like with the VW interiors. They freakin ROCK esp. when the interior is done up in plaid.

Like I said b4, if I lost the e30, it would be one of my first picks
