    F*ck your paypal fees

Why do sellers request that their buyers pay their PayPal fees? It's the price you pay for conveniently getting paid within milliseconds from anywhere in the world, suck it up.

On big ticket items I can see them wanting the buyer to pay for the fees...

Otherwise I agree, it's the cost of doing business. It's like how some gas stations/convenient stores charge $0.50 per debit/cc transactions, and others don't.

If you don't like it then don't buy from them. Otherwise eat shit and stop whining.

Honestly if you are getting a deal, which 99% of the time it is, buck up and pay the tiny fee, don't be a whiny bitch, "oh no! I'm paying 2$ fee on a product that's already heavily discounted, boo hoo."

Some people forget they are driving BMW's. I don't care if these cars are 20+ years old. They're not cheap to maintain. Nothing is.

I try to always buck up and pay the fee myself, even if I'm not asked...

It's the sellers responsibility to price the item accordingly - that means including the paypal fees into the cost.

Also - I believe it's against the terms of service - at least it is for ebay. So there is that.

A thousand times this. Sellers know exactly how much the fees are going to be. It's not like they're calculated arbitrarily and/or differently for anyone.

I really, really hate paypal. Wish people would accept one of the competitors out there.

I've gotta say, I used PayPal to purchase a $1500 bike off Craigslist from across the country. I paid seller's fees because he was looking for a local transaction. The seller kept all of his promises and there were no issues, but PayPal assured me beforehand that if anything went wrong with the transaction they would guarantee a refund.

That was some good peace of mind.

                          My thoughts exactly.
Put it in your selling price.

I always pay the fee. I consider it insurance against a bad transaction.

                            That doesn't mean I don't hate PayPal.

Agreed. I've never asked that somebody pay mine.
