    My next car???

Getting a 2nd car and can't really decide on what to get. Would thought R3v would help.

    2012 Toyota Yaris 4k $13k (silver)
    30/38 MPG

    2006 Mini Cooper 56k $16k (black)
    28/36 MPG

    2007 Mazda 3 s 43k $16k (silver)
    26/33 MPG

Kinda looking for better gas mileage. Looks like the Yaris is winning, but can't see myself driving one. I always wanted a Mini Cooper. That 3s is looking mighty sweet.

Anyone driven or has any of these cars? Pros? Cons? Probably will test drive all three of them today or tomorrow.

My vote's to mini just for driving - smaller is usually more fun. But the mazda has more space and would look nice with a roof rack on it ;)

I would look at MKV GTI's. Nicest interior for the price range I have ever seen, and quick/comfy/classy

            Terribly, Terribly gay.

Add up the price of the car vs the fuel savings. Even if you're driving 40k miles a year, $15k will buy a lot of fucking gas, plus insurance, maintenance, tires, etc.

I vote Yaris. Sure they arent' as powerful or ritzy as they other 2, but it's frugal ways and simplicity will remind you a lot of your e30.

Also it's suprisingly fun to drive as it feels like you driving a go kart! And regardless of how hard you drive it (even with a/c on and with auto), you'll always get great fuel economy!

Check out online reviews, I think you'll be mighty suprised how reliable they are, even in higher mileage ones.

I recommend a used one, as second cars arent' supposed to cost THAT much
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Are you getting it solely to get better gas mileage and not deal with e30 maintenance and such? I voted mini, seems like a good compromise. Are any of these manuals?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Didn't find any good cooper s that I liked and for less than $18. There was one but it's yellow

Don't really like the GTI's. Theres actually one in black.

Not really. All three cars are manuals, yes

There's a z4 I really like but has 69k for $15k. Seen a few others but either they're beat up or no like color and are auto.

There's also a few e46 M3 but too much money for me :(

I'm saying, do the math. Paying for another car, the insurance, maintenance, etc............is not going to save you any money.

How much do you spend a month on gas?

                          On the e30. About $5/week, so $200/mo

I'm not getting another car to save gas on the e30if that's what you're asking. I'm still gonna use the e30 as my daily. This is for the weekends/vacation/trips.
