It is like a little noisy air pump you have to wear over your mouth/nose at night.

If the mask for the machine looked like Darth Vader's mask, would you be more willing to wear it?

Closer to the swole side for sure, I can definitely throw some weight around in the gym. And fighting, pshh call me "Golden Gloves".

My buddy has/had a deviated septum, all through high school he could never breath through his nose, it sounded like he was congested 100% of the time. He had surgery for it- and it definitely helped, he told me they basically take a hammer and chisel to your nose when you're under anesthesia. He said his breathing was about 75% better than before. Still a little fucked up, but a night and day difference.

sounds like a buddy of mine. I should suggest this to him. Seems liek he's congested year-round

rufflz rufflz rufflz. your different gifs are like a "rufflz was here" message. lol. were the same exact body build pretty much. 6'2 175.

sleep apnea is serious so yea i would deffinately get it checked out. you only get one body.

my girlfriend has told me i snore horribly when i fall asleep on my back. i dont think its associated with apnea but just being in that posistion kinda forces my mouth open. idk im no doctor. i should record my sleep on night. i also went through bouts of sleep paralysis for about a yea and a half back in 2007. now that is freaking scary

                Well it's done.
                Not scary at all lol.

                I don't have apnea.

However, my body/ brain doesnt relax before it preps for sleep. So it just crashes, thus quality of sleep is terrible.

My hart rate drops to a steady 50 when sleeping, and breathing us slow. I didn't stop breathing tho....

Sleeping on your side helps a lot as does making sure your schnoz is totally clear before going to bed.

                    So what did they suggest?

I've been using a bipap machine for quite a few years, and while it does suck having to feel like I rely on it, it's made a HUGE difference in my quality of sleep, and I no longer feel like I have to crash and burn after work.
