    W124/Old Benz Scene

So today I had a mint 1992 300E signed over in my name.
It has like less than 90k miles on it, and has had everything (and a bunch of unnecessary) things replaced on it.

I'm looking to see some aftermarket engine solutions, suspension, and exhaust options.

I have decided to throw on some monoblocks or maybe some other random newer mbz wheels, but that's about it for now.
I also wanna put the euro trunk on as well.

This car has had so much money thrown at it that it's crazy.

So this is where I'm at right now. Stockalishous.

        Thanks!
Yeah, ironically it was owned by my aunt in TN,
and I bought my E30 off of my other aunt in CA.

So both of my cars belonged to my aunts.

Don't expect the infinate aftermarket parts offer the e30 has. You should be able to get lowering springs pretty easy. Monoblocks always look great, try to get the OEM AMGs, not kopi. Shout at me if you need any euro specific parts.

Leave it alone. The glory othe old Benzes is that they are comfy, reliable taxis. Monoblocs look like crap (on any Benz), and messing with the engine is not going to do anything useful

I would disagree with that notion.

I would agree with you that they look awesome on a 500E, but his Beige 300E is a far cry from a 500E. Muuuch wider fenders on the 500E and a big V8 to back up the rubber... That may also be a de-badged AMG Hammer, but the Hammer is based on a 500E platform, so it's still a similar looking car.

To OP... Leave the 300E as it is and enjoy the ride and reliability of a 90's Mercedes... spend your money on upgrades for the E30....

You guys want me to keep those ugly p.o.s wheels on there?
I must be losing my mind.

Tint, later 16" wheels of your liking, koni's all around, 500e front brakes and sways and drive it. If its a second gear start car, set it up for first gear start. If you want lower highway RPM, drop by the house and grab that diesel diff I have.

Bull excrements. I know that first pic is a 500, but any 124, especially wagons look great on mblocks.

W123 or bust. I miss mine. Plan to buy another in the future and spank an lsx engine into it.

I won't disagree... monoblocks are killer wheels on the W124... even on that diesel you posted, above. My point was that without the flared fenders, it looks a little toy-car-ish, especially in the rear. But, they still look good...

I would leave the car stock minus some monoblocks
