I hope the company dies a fiery death.

The company that employs me as a writer pays me through Paypal and usually there is no hassle besides the few day wait to transfer the money to my bank account, but today Paypal has my money as "pending" to "ensure my safety". It says it may take up to 24 hours and it's already been all day.

Just needed to rant because Paypal never ceases to be a pain in the fucking ass.

So, when this company extended you an employment letter, and in this indicated that they would pay you through a freebie online service usually reserved for ebay shit and Nigerian scams, you didn't tell them to go fuck themselves why?

Seriously, that sounds shady as hell. Why aren't they doing direct deposit, why did you agree to that?

Ive never done something like that and if i was offered, i would do it. Id rather be paid by check if thats the case.
I used to work for a company that was across the country and paid me per job, (Produced music and sound for any video or presentatino they made) so it was not consistent.
Each time they paid by check. done. No paypal. That seems low tech. If its a legitimate business who valued employees, they should be making you a check at your request.

The company I work for is all about being paperless and completely electronic, I mean it's honestly not a huge pain having to wait 2 days for my money to transfer to my bank, but waiting the extra day to have to send it is bullshit, because I see that they sent me my money, and Paypal is holding it for no reason at all.

I've had to wait 23 days to receive a payment through Paypal before, for absolutely not a reason in the world. If they shut down, I wouldn't be sad at all.
