    German culture question

My GF is taking a filler dance class and has a project she needs help with. She needs to know what kind of dance a German person might participate in. The teacher told them to describe the dance the assigned person might do. Below is the description that she ended up with.

The person is a male, is 60 years old, and lives in an urban area. What would someone do, as a job, this age from an urban area? What kind of dance might he know?

Any help in german culture wold be great...I told her I would post so she stopped asking me.

I took 4 years worth of German during high school/ The yodeling and polka is pretty spot on. I think one of their traditional things was a slap dance or something like that.

FOX dancing, it's the euro 70/80s dance style that was and is still popular for "older" people-- kinda a slow swing I guess.

at 60 years old they could be doing anything, there are a ton of BOSCH engineers in tht age bracket around here.
