i used to bowl league, but my local bowling alley closed b.c the owners were greedy cock-faced bastards. i bowl with a HAMMER, 14lb. my average used to be like 178, but now its prolly more like 140...

Ok.... I don't know why I can't hold around a general score over a series of games. I bowled 12 games yesterday in 2 6 block sets. First set was a 212 high and 147 low. And EVERYTHING in between from a 190 to 153. Thats a 70 pin swing.... and the 147 was the game after the 212. 2nd block was nothing fancy. Lane was dry as shit and I couldn't pick a line to save my life. I ended up taking off the glove and bowling with my plastic spare ball. 156 high 108 low. First block was a 173 average second was 138. I'm 156 in my league as of yesterday. It don't help (except in the series win) to bowl a huge 212 on a 156 average and then follow it up with a 147. That hurts more than the 212 just helped.

Bowling comes and goes. I can bowl a 110 and follow it with a 230 its all about the feel of the lane and if you can work with what you have. If you aren't focused and really trying to follow what you know is your game you will be all over the place. Just stick with what you know and make it work.

I started my 212 last night with 3 strikes and a spare and ended with 3 strikes and a spare. Problem is I had 2 opens in between.
