Here's mine - being dropped off at a friend's place. Spun a rod bearing....got a spare M20 refreshed ready to go in. I'll be doing the engine removal in a week or two.
Rides...
1991 325i - sold :(
2004 2WD Frontier King Cab
Wish camera phones existed when I had my m10. Threw my drivers front wheel off at speed. Mechanic I went to for inspection didn't torque the nuts = free replaced suspension!
The E didn't do much better. Clutch failed driving home from class. Then the L piece on the firewall for the heater snapped off.
And the latest was cps connector came loose on the IS during a huge thunderstorm. Wasn't about to dick around under the hood during that mess.
Needless to say I've gotten great use out of AAA. I think slammin has the right idea though.
Didn't take pics but mine has been towed twice within 2 weeks. One for a fuel pump going out and the other because the previous owner forgot to tighten the 8mm hex heads for the inner cv joint causing my driver side to disconnect.
happened to me too but was only block from house so was able to push it.
Did explode my drive shaft in town, should of seen peoples faces as I was coasting to a parking lot.
