I usually tend to find myself in my dreams, being aware of what is going on and saying things like "this dream is stupid". I have yet to actually consciously alter my dreams.

I have numerous crazy and odd dreams (don't we all) but never do they have any rhyme, reason, or coordination.

I have dreamed of things like chasing, and being chased by Alien UFO's, yet not to the point of abduction. I have dreamed of Bruce Lee and Gang pirates. I have dreamed of being a spy, and doing a revenge heist only to find after precise planning that I forgot to plan the escape. I have dreamed of an almost fairy tale relationship with a girl, only to end up in utter despair. I have dreamed of floating in a random space with all sorts of giant floating geometrical shapes. I have had multiple dreams of falling from great heights and hitting, one time bouncing off the ground three times before awaking. I have the most crazy and messed up dreams out of anyone I know.

I had a dream once where I was in Vietnam on a patrol through the jungle when we were attacked by VC. We all took cover, but I was the only one returning fire.

Then the VC started charging our position with bayonets. I was mowing them down relentlessly. I realized during the fire fight that they weren't Vietnamese, they were Mexicans in the black pj's and NVA uniforms.

        I woke up shortly afterwards.

Next night I had this dream that I was on an airfield somewhere surrounded by jungle. It seemed like a temp set up because it had the metal grating for the runway and there weren't any buildings, just a bunch of tents. The runway was lined with fox holes and there were defensive positions all around.

There was this young kid that hung around and used to hang out with me and other people there. Probably around 8-10 years old.

Then there was a mortar attack and in the confusion the kid got separated from us. When it was over I began looking for him. What I found was pieces of him all over the airfield.

        I woke up screaming.

Never understood why I had those dreams.

When i was really young I used to have night terrors. I was fully awake physically screaming bloody murder but I was mentally still dreaming.

I remember small portions of the episodes to this day.

I taught myself how to wake up from nightmares when I was ~10, so I was aware that I was dreaming and basically said "fuck this", woke myself up and got back to sleep

I remember seeing on tv that you should pinch yourself in a dream to see if you dreaming. if it hurts, then yoru obviously not dreaming.

One time I tried this while i was dreaming. It hurt regardless of it being a dream or not :/

this, I also learned to make a bad dream into a good one.

Ex) getting chased by raptors, and then befriending them.

I always have dreams that I'm driving my E30. I usually remember downshifting but I had a dream once where I dodged an accident that happened in the middle of the road only to crash into another car, it sort of spooked me driving to work the next morning too, like that movie Final Destination.
