    I really want.

    Opinions on them?
I just sold my K75S a couple weeks ago. I guess I should have posted it here to give r3v a first shot.

let me know if you have any questions about early K bikes, or 70s airheads. Owning both the k75S and a 78 R80/7 in mint shape (airhead is under 8k original miles), I would say the K bike was much more exciting and build to zip around twisties or freeways and makes a reliable commuter. An airhead is pure motorcycling nostalgia. It actually accelerates quick enough to be fun in that regard but it is a very involving ride. Heavy clutch thunk, heavy flywheel, really gotta tell it what you want to do and not second guess anything. Both bikes are shaft driven which is far superior to a chain in my opinion for many reasons. I also had a 650Xcounty which was great fun but more a disposable camera than a life long friend. Stick with an older beamer, and the k75 is superior to the k100 unless you are fat.

      Nice bike

Yeah, all good points on the airhead vs. k bike. I ride my R100GS daily, it's a solid machine. I just prefer the boxer to the inline motors, but to each his own. I had an X Challenge, fun bike too, but yes...not long term.

I've got this thing up for sale currently to fund the e30 project, though.

What ya need? We can basically get all original parts for those, IIRC.

Running and in rough shape shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll see what we have.
