I just bought myself a 2002. E9s are cool but I'm not at a point in my life where I can grab one and really take advantage of owning it, restoring it, driving it, etc. Maybe later.

The same reason why we buy anything else in life, because we want them and I can afford a project of that magnitude. Currently looking for a good s14 motor as we speak. 2.3l or 2.5l.

I agree, the rear is sexual the front is a little "frumpy" IMO. I'd love to have it as a project, but I don't think I could bring it to perfection at this point in my life.
