Could a stiffer strut with more compression resistance cause the car to sit a bit higher, especially if your old ones were really soft or blown?
-
the mud flaps may have convinced the springs/struts that it's actually an iX so the car's natural response was to raise up a bit- no big deal this happens all the time

haha yes they are surely bilstein sports that i bought from blunt over a year ago.
they've been on the car for roughly a year and half, surely settled.

Wait for it to settle, or if it's past that point make sure you actually have bilstein sports.

Damn, my car got higher since I lowered it :(
I lowered my car the summer after junior year in high school, and now I'm a sophomore in college looking at my car all funny.
I never replaced the springs since I lowered it, nor did I remove the e90 drop hats that I installed.
Last summer though, I installed some new Bilstein sport struts in the front.
Do you guys also see that it got higher since then, or am i just crazy?
This kind of shit makes me angry, so angry that I might just keep my car and lower it even more next summer.
Before I lowered it, then after I lowered..and through the last few years

and now right now, which is sorta bothering me: the car looks like it raised up an inch or so by itself after I installed the bilstein sport struts (it already had bistein tourings in the rear)
