Patrick Norton, do you guys know who he is?

Do you guys know who he is? I didn't know who he was but he helped me out at the local auto parts store the other day, while I was experiencing difficulties with my euro-trim conversion project. My friend who was with me at the time told me that it he recognized him after he got in his turbo diesel ram and spend off in a plume of smoke.

Apparently he lives on the island as well. tweeted him thanking him.

Seriously lol, you keep mentioning problems with the euro trim. I got mine from Steve at BluntTech and it literally took me 15-20 minutes for a flawless install. What's going on?

I don't know who Patrick Norton is, but there are plenty of celebrities and famous people that live in the Bay Area. Hell, my friend is Carlos Santana's landscaper, pretty neat.

                    haha qft.

my problems were that i bought the wrong kid of filler twice, and he recommended me to not go back to o'reilys and go somewhere else.

sure enough that type of filler worked out perfectly.
we talked cars for a minute though, particularly volvo, as he also had just bought a 92 245 like my own.

to the OP, I have no idea who that fellow is, but I'm happy to hear that he made your day :)

I was discussing this with a fellow actor recently. I do mostly commercials as well as he. I was mentioning how the buyouts on commercials over the past 15 years has really dropped due to the prevalence of the internet as a means of advertising. Not to mention youtube, FB, etc.

Back in the day when you booked an audition, getting paid 15 g's wasnt' uncommon...heck even 20 was pretty reasonable. Nowadays it seems like 3-5 is the norm...and is in the upper end of the scale.

Back in the days of MJ and Elvis and Dolly Parton etc. there were really no other means of communication other than tv. If you made it on there, you made it BIG.

These days, many ppl. dont even have time to watch tv, and if they do, they usually just end up fast forwarding over the commercials thanks to things like TiVo.

this, I never watch commericals and if I don't have it DVR I just change the channel to something else or mute the commericals and look at the internet or something. Commercials are so annoying.
