How do you guys with long hair look after your hair?
I'm pretty new to this. My hair's getting pretty long now.
I take 2 showers per day on average (double-day workouts) and when I dry my hair in the shower, I get hair strands on the floor.
Also, my hair likes to get caught in knots now so when I comb it sometimes, I wind up pulling a few strands out. It get's all over the sink and it's pretty annoying.
What am I doing wrong? Should I be conditioning it and shit?
I've been using pert plus for the last 20 years. I don't know anything else.
Help me out guise. :(
What does it matter if you're losing some hair? I think it's natural that that will occur when you hair is longer....or just in general.
I've been waking every morning to a few hair on my pillow since I was in my late teens and I'm still not going bald...anywhere. After showers I'll lose a few here and there but it get's SUPER thick if I dont' get it thinned out at each hair cut.
If it's of real concern, i'd ask how' you stress levels are, have you taken on any new responsibilities that are particularly troubling? how's you diet? have you been getting enough unprocessed foods in it? enough water? Also, how about sleep?
Sleep, sex, good natural foods, exercise, relaxation and water are all great ways to help your body out

I get all of these except for the first one...or at least in proper portions.
I exert myself physically far over the average since I'm an athlete.
I'm also the type of dude who's on edge a lot due to athletics, pressures, and school you could say.
However, my hair get's soaked in salt water and sweat every single morning, so I take more showers than the usual dude as well.. interesting you bring nutrition up as well .. I've been trying correct deficiencies in my diet recently.
I need roughly 6,000 Calories per day - something which is very hard to attain whilst also being a student, living on campus .:hitler:
When being honest with myself, I know I don't get that daily recommended amount replenished.
I grew my hair through high school, reached the middle of my back, made for badass windmills playing guitar in a garage band. I then donated 27 inches of hair to locks of love.

I was trying to grow mine out, but like a Douche I went to get it trimmed a few weeks ago and took off too much. I told myself not to go back for at least 6 more weeks, then only a cleanup round the edges. I'm also kind of afraid that after so long a wait, that it'll get kinda wavy like my dad's was.
