After my last attempt at a hot wing contest, I became very familiar with the dab technique. I'd like to think the aloe got me back to normal wiping faster.

I was putting aloe on my bhole...does that sound like a victory?
I ate 2 of 12 wings and then couldn't sleep all night due to the fire in my gut...but as you know, the real pain comes the next day when the aloe and dab technique are required.
I previously won the buffalo wild wings contest, but the above wings were at least 15x hotter.

Not even close. I was pouring a half gallon of milk all over my face and down my gullet within minutes of eating just 2 wings...no use. That wing 'sauce' could take paint off a wall.

I eat hot food a lot. I don't have a stupid high tolerance (like people who heat ghost peppers raw for fun), but I pretty much always opt for the 'hot' salsa, tons of sriracha, red pepper on everything, etc.
These wings were a different beast.
Edit: did some googling. The 'Blazin' wings at Bdubs are ~350k on the scoville scale (I completed that challenge). The wings in question are ~3million on the scoville scale. F#ck that.Last edited by Joe G; 02-11-2019, 02:35 PM.

You can make ghost peppers, reapers, pepper X and nagas taste good, but it really makes little to no sense. Playing in the 500k range is enjoyable, but it's all fairly subjective and how we react to spice is dependent on a variety of changeable factors.

Plus you probably destroyed all your gut flora and had to start anew.
The microbiome doesn't seem to be impacted directly by spicy stuff. However, acid reflux and diarrhea can be problematic.
Spicy food rules, to hell with subtlety of flavor.
