The main guy reminds me of a Texas version of my old boss; kind of a fast talking douchebag, but generally likable. I wanted to hate the show, but it sucked me in.

If you're watching it to witness quality builds, you're doing it wrong. It's entertainment, that's all. The upholstery lady cracks me up, btw.

Texas Car Wars, now that show is just a worthless pile of shit.

I couldn't have said it better myself. You know you're doing something right when guys get together and talk about your show. Which is what I did with a coupe car buddies last weekend. Prior to that all we did was talk about top gear. I like that they have filled a void on basic cable that wheeler dealers does on expanded cable.

I don't watch any car shows for their quality builds really. Maybe those muscle car shows on Spike where they build stuff without the TV Drama crap.

This show is just fun to watch for the characters and the end product they sell.

On another note, anyone notice the BMWs on Counting Cars? Looks like an e21 in one episode, and I think it was an e31 in another. All just in the background.

Great show,just watched an episode last night. Just Like you said,the show just draws you in to watch it. The texas car wars show,i just watched it last night for the first time. Its just like that storage wars show,it just sucks.

i like it, pretty entertaining, not the show to watch if you want to see perfect restorations but its pretty enjoyable
