    Flatland skimboarding.
If you move to Vancouver I suggest making the trip to Mt Baker. Legendary.

      ah i see.
not sure exactly what that refers too (just got into it this last summer)
but pretty much stick to the 1-5 inch stuff, i have gotten out to almost crotch height tho skimming perpendicular to the beach, tons of fun, i want to skim somewhere other than the beaches i have gone too tho. they all feel the same haha.

i can do like little bump jumps off up a crashing already white wave.
learned shuv its and almost big spins.
and can only pivot 360's nothing intense hahaha.

Flatland is more skate oriented. Then theres wave skimming that's more surf. A couple guys I know own a skimboard company, DB skimboards. I used to skimboard a lot.
There is a TON of good skimming spots around Vancouver. This is from flatland competition I did like 3 or 4 years ago.

damn that looks legit as hell.
looks like fun until you beef good ahhahahahaa.
but yeah seems a lot more skateboard like, you can create spots and stay in a small area and get some experience in.

That's kind of why I stopped, my feet were always fucked up and I'd walk around with a limp. I only skimmed once this summer and I felt like an old man.
