    Pshh, pirate is your friend :D And i think they were giving them out legit for free, if you proved you were a college student. Not sure if they do it anymore tho.

      That is fine if you don't plan on selling anything. I probably will one day.

      You should try blender it is free, and I find the modelling a lot simpler and easier, there are some features that it lacks from 3DS but not enough to concern me, it takes about a solid day of learning to get blender basics down.

        My brother in law picked up google sketch fairly quickly. I tooled around on it for a bit, seems easy enough to use. He made a very close matching model to his house/yard and living room. Used it for buying furniture, loom for his yard etc.

        I'm not much of a whiz on that stuff. Years ago I knew enough to be dangerous in Pro-E and Autocad, but I don't remember much of it now.
