Well since shes a trainee the boss would most likely come looking for you, so you did the right thing in covering for her. There isnt much you can do while your training her but as soon as your gone to another shift Im sure shell get her just deserves. Shitty employees always get noticed, most often quicker than you would think.Back to my roots

Seems to me if she has been there 6 months doing this and was DEMOTED to a later shift it should be sink or swim.
Do your job keep her from screwing up when it is your job and let her drown when you are gone.
