I will agree that nothing any of us tells you is going to be very comforting, but I'd just like to say I'll be praying for you guys and with God's strength you will all come out of this as stronger people.

My grandma died of cancer 2 days before Thanksgiving but I can't even imagine the pain of my mom passing away unexpectedly.

Many of us have lost loved ones. Some of us have lost them in very trying circumstances. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom II. I lost a few of my friends there. And I share the feelings you had when they died with me by their side. What you have to know is that fear takes over at those instances and its not fair to you. But life isn't fair and thats the acceptance we all need to make. You know that you need to be strong, and hold your head up. We are all here on this forum to help each other out. I extend my sympathy to you and your family this holiday season. I will be attending my regular church back in the states for the first time in 8 months this Sunday.
