we're all deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Pamela Browning, the mother of our beloved member, Jordan 'Bokes' Cascio. there is never an appropriate time to lose a loved one but during the holidays makes it even harder.

some friends and I have taken the liberty of creating a fund to help Jordan and his family get through the holiday season.

if you feel that you'd like to help out, please send a paypal payment to:

      themadhatter323@yahoo.com

in the payment subject line, type "project bokes". give us your name(s)/screen name(s) if you'd like to be included in the holiday card

send it no later then Sunday 12/18/2005. this will assure that we have time to forward the funds before Christmas.

you can send a personal check or money order payable directly to Jordan Cascio to:

      Motorsport Recycling LLC
      1092 St George Ave
      suite 260
      Rahway NJ 07065

A card will be mailed along with the money to Jordan's family listing all those who have been able to help in this very stressful time.

whether you can send $5 or $500 is up to you and what you can offer.

thanks for your time and have a safe and pleasant holiday.

awesome. I talked to jordan today, it hasnt hit him yet. JP (155///MPH) talked to him for about an hour last night, JP lost his dad a few years back, and will be a great guy for jordan to talk to.

edit- If anyone would like to send something to the family at home instead of through the Project, PM me and I'll give his home address out, but only on a limited basis.

Whatever you can do would help.

I had a similar wake-up call a few weeks ago, when my uncle(also a big gearhead) lost his life, survived by his daughter and wife.

I think this situation with Bokes needs to affect some people on this board...maybe it's time to drop some of the arrogance and the unnecessary hating.

just an update (and this is from last night). the fund has gotten MUCH more attention than i think anyone had ever expected. $1400 as of last night has been donated. i really dont know what to think, except to let all of you know that the money will be put to good use.
