When I rolled my ix down a 300 foot cliff I got out of my car looked at the cliff and said fuck you. My e30 saved my life.
Why do you love your E30?

The car has a ton of character. I've had better driving and nicer cars but none have put a smile on my face quite like this one.91 318is M50 swapped

When I drive my e30 people move and pause and stop for me. I feel like a bauce. When I drive other cars like the work van or a rental corolla or whatever I get fools cutting me off left and right and basically go by unnoticed.
Cops even compliment my car, instead of ticketing it.
However I want to change my urethane bushings cause they annoy the fuck out of me. I must be getting old.

simply, because of the smile it puts on my face. Tonight, I saw her in the driveway, covered in leaves, dirt, grime, etc....Ive been too busy to drive her for over a month. I just took her our, washed her, and now I am fucking chipper. The car is just a dream.

I think the favorite thing about my E30 is that it seems to respond positively to everything I do to it. When I replaced my odometer gears, it didn't work at first but it seemed like the car just WANTED to make me happy, so they began working a couple days later.Interested in vintage cars? For me, it's probably the most driver-centered car I've ever driven. Pedal placement, shifter placement, steering feedback, throttle response, brake feel, all are exactly how I want them.88 325is - S52 powered
